The purpose of a litter box is a must in the cat obedience teaching. Having a potty trained cat is one of the main problem that animal owners face. The first thing a cat should learn is where to go to the bathroom. In order to do this, one should have tolerance to train a cat. Start the training for your kitten by providing a litter box. Lure your pet to the litter box after all meals, play time and upon waking up. Rewards will keep your animal involved within the teaching. This may perhaps take a few days or a few weeks for the kitties to master but once they finally figure out what the litter box is meant for than it becomes a walk in the park.
Cat obedience teaching also involves training the animal where it is ok to do so. This will also aim to direct the cat to their sleeping spot, play area and the location of the litter box. To live in serenity with your cat will require conducting this training. Scratching is a part of a pet’s habit and hygiene and lack of proper teaching will cause nothing except confusion to your home. You can provide scratching posts where it is ok for kitties to use their paws and area where all their toys are.
Rewards will permanently keep your kitties interest. Show your appreciation in favor of its fine behavior and acts with treats. Physical disciplinary acts are not tolerated and is unacceptable in the pet obedience training. Kitties will continuously want to satisfy their owners so make certain to spend at least 10 minutes a day teaching them for them to maintain the commands you desire them to know.
